The casual Hudson Valley Wood-Frame Chair features an eye-catching exposed-wood frame in which every piece is crafted from solid American black walnut. A series of straight spindles is topped by an exaggerated curved cap rail, similar to that found on the Hudson Valley Spindle Bed. Sinuous arms curl over reverse tapered posts at the front, then extend fully around the chair to intersect the spindles and outward-sweeping rear posts. Finally, a wooden base supports an extra-thick seat cushion with sink-in softness and a loose knife-edge back pillow tailored for a perfect fit. Shown here in 8605-91.
